
Ken is the Director of Health and Wellness Research at Heartland Forward, where he leads the development and delivery of evidence-based research to strengthen Heartland communities.
Prior to joining Heartland Forward, Ken served as the lead econometrician for Metas Solutions and CDC’s NCEH Asthma Division where he focused on the design and implementation of machine learning models to estimate state-level economic costs of asthma. He also held key roles such as Director of Research at Milken Institute and Senior Manager of Strategic Health Economics and Outcomes Research at BluePath Solutions. Additionally, as a tenured faculty at the University of Regina’s Department of Economics, Ken published peer-reviewed articles and served as Principal Investigator on several grant-funded research projects with the Ministry of Justice of Saskatchewan.
Ken holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Mississippi, and a B.S. in Finance from Clemson University.
