To download the underlying data, click the download icon in the bottom-right of the visualization, select “Crosstab,” and select “Figure 1 Data.”

As the dataset underlying Table 1 is relatively complex, there are a few additional steps to download these data. First, click the download icon in the bottom-right of the visualization and select “Data.” This will allow users to create and download a customized data file. Many columns, such as Rank Suffixes, are simply used for formatting and can be removed. To obtain the key data displayed, remove all columns except State, Metric, Rank, and Value. The resulting file will include a row for each combination of state and metric included in Table 1, with Value indicating the state’s value for that metric and Rank indicating the state’s rank for that metric out of all states with data available.
