Earlier this spring, we released our report titled “The Economic Case for Investing in Maternal Health”.
At Heartland Forward, we are committed to investment in maternal health to promote the development of the region because we believe that healthy mothers make for a dynamic heartland. This commitment to new and expecting mothers made this past Mother’s Day special. We set out to inform the public of resources available to support mothers through a series of one-pagers focused on services such as community health workers, doulas and midwives; virtual health; and cost transparency tools. By spreading valuable information needed to access these services, we hope to improve the health and the future for mothers across the heartland.
