Katie Milligan-Dixon

Director, Entrepreneurship, Human Capital & Workforce Development

Katie Milligan-Dixon serves as the Director for Entrepreneurship, Human Capital & Workforce Development for Heartland Forward, supporting programmatic work in the Talent Pipeline impact area.

She previously served as the Chief of Staff for Start Co. and as the Director of Small Business and Entrepreneurship for the Delta Regional Authority (DRA). While at the DRA, Katie launched the Delta Entrepreneurship Network, a competitive fellowship program to identify entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship support organizations in the Delta.

Katie was named one of 100 emerging changemakers in the first cohort of the Obama Foundation’s Leaders USA program. Additionally, Katie has served as a US delegate at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress and is currently serving on the Clinton School of Public Service Dean’s Advisory Board.

Katie has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Public Service from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
