Our Leadership

Katie Altland is the senior administrative assistant at Heartland Forward, where she supports senior leadership and the Heartland Summit. She manages executive operations, strategic scheduling, cross-functional coordination and day-to-day workflow.

Katie previously served as executive assistant and office manager at Runway Group, the Bentonville-based holding company of Tom Walton and Steuart Walton. Previously, Katie held roles in human resources and executive support at Employer Direct Healthcare and provided high-level personal and operational support in both healthcare and private family office environments.

Katie holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas. She lives in Northwest Arkansas and is currently a trainee in the Washington County, Arkansas Master Gardener program.
