By applying a proven playbook in partnership with policymakers, providers and community organizations, Heartland Forward’s Maternal & Child Health Center for Policy & Practice (MCH CPP) will advance maternal health and improve outcomes for families across the heartland.

MCH CPP’s work builds from Heartland Forward’s landmark research report, The Economic Case for Investing in Maternal Health, which describes how improved maternal health outcomes directly improve state economies.

Engaging Heartland Health Caucus member states, MCH CPP will expand partnerships with community-based organizations, health systems and policymakers across heartland states.

Healthy Moms Healthy Babies America is the public-facing campaign of the Maternal & Child Health Center for Policy & Practice. The campaign is a national effort uniting policymakers, business leaders, health care providers to make the United States the safest country in the world to give birth.
